Lockdown is among us again!

The day before lockdown started had a hotel shoot booked. I was looking forward to this shoot, I would have been devastated if I had to wait any longer to do it. When I had sent over the list of things I suggested they do to prepare the room, The room had been de-dressed because of covid as the suites were closed. They made the extra special effort to redress the room. Having to go through all their storage units to find the correct pillows, cushions, chair and accessories for all four rooms.

The rooms had different styles as you will see in the images I post. It might seem odd for hotels to have this approach. I believe it sets them apart from the rest, it makes the stay feel so much more unique and exclusive because no one else has a room like you.

The Barnard suite, the contrast of the black and reds in combination with the accessories really felt like luxury. I really wanted to find a reason to book this room to stay for a night or two. The continuity of pattern and colour throughout just pulls this room together. The centred bed is also something I don’t see enough and its certainly a statement piece.

The Sartoria Suite is a cosy suite to be in, with warm sunlight entering the windows, that can convert to a balcony! Is such an incredible feature to this room, it really sets apart this room for the others. With views overlooking a field with horses, it would be the best place to read or have your morning coffee. High ceilings allow for the incredible light shade that is so different and definitely unique.

The Whelan suite is really colourful and had a royal feel to it. It felt like a prince/princess room, something special about staying here with plenty of space to lounge around in and just relax. A perfectly placed desk, with a mirror, next to two large windows the natural light just floods in to give you flawless ambient light to get ready with.

William and Mary suite this felt like the gentleman's room, had the country manor room feel to it, ready to go clay pigeon shooting. Well, get your wellies, flat hat and tweed suite ready because the dark wood four-poster bed is just the environment you need to be in you will feel right at home.
